Con el apoyo de la Embajada de Polonia en España, la asociación española Poland First to Fight, dedicada al estudio y divulgación de la historia de Polonia en la primera mitad del siglo XX, va a participar en los actos oficiales conmemorativos del 75º Aniversario del Levantamiento de Varsovia, que tendrán lugar en la capital polaca entre los días 31 de julio y 5 de agosto y 8 de julio al 14 de agosto.
El Levantamiento de Varsovia (1 de agosto de 1944 a 3 de Octubre de 1944) fue el mayor levantamiento armado, en territorio ocupado, contra los alemanes.
Constituyó el intento desesperado de la resistencia polaca (AK, Armia Krajowa o Ejército Nacional), leal al legítimo Gobierno Polaco exiliado en Londres, por liberar la capital de los alemanes e impedir la subordinación del país a la URSS y la implantación de una dictadura comunista tras la guerra.

-10:00 am – Holy Mass in the Church of Visit of the Blessed Virgin Mary and wreath on the plate of the Group “Leśnik” (2 Przyrynek Street), and then celebration for the memory of the insurgents who fought in defense of the Polish mint (Calle Sanguszki 1).
-12: 30-13: 30 Official closing of the International Tournament. Small insurgent
-18:00 – Solemn Mass for the insurgents, at the Sanctuary of San. Faustyny (1 Żytnia St.), on the anniversary of the insurgent mass, in which soldiers from the battalion “Parasol” participated.
August 3 (Saturday)
-17:00 – Official ceremony on the anniversary of the assault on the German gendarmerie Nordwache at the intersection of Chłodna and Żelazna streets in Nordwache,
-18:00 staging of the “Chrobry I” battalions, in which armored teams and more than 100 reconstructionists will participate (celebrations co-financed by the National Defense Minister’s funds)

5:00 pm Ceremony at memorial plaque. Dedicated to the soldiers of the company “Maciek” who died in during the trip to the armored train (corner of the streets Ostroroga and ulica Tatarskiej)
